But I don’t know, it was fun to try it and to join the crazy amount of fashion bloggers using them. This time I wanted to pair it with a simple white crop top and a couple of pieces to make it more “grunge”. I wore this to be with my family since they are visiting because my graduation. GRADUATION 2013!! (by Daniela Ramirez)

I cried at least three times during the day…and I know writing this post is not going to be an exception. I don’t why what was different about this graduation, I don’t know if it’s my fear of what’s going to happen now…but I really don’t understand all these feelings. What I do know is how grateful I am with all of you, because you helped me find my passion and you have seen me grow along the way. I’m so thankful with my parents and friends for the words of encouragement and the unconditional love and support. I don’t know what’s coming my way now, but all I know is that I’m not going to stop fighting to achieve my dreams. A amazing chapter might be closing but I can’t wait to see what’s next. Thanks again!

Just a quick reminder of the concept: wearing the same three ieces in three different outfits- here’s first look I posted last week…I’ll share the last one soon. The three pieces I’m repeating in this look are: the adventure tee, the jeweled necklaced, and the gray bag. This look is almost identical to the one I wore to the Brooklyn Bridge…but Hey there’s so much you can do with a small bag for two months. I really like that just by changing the white jeans to boyfriend jeans, the look feels like a new one! Which one do you like better…with the white jeans or the boyfriend jeans? XOXO

So I stopped wearing them to challenge myself to try new combinations and to wear more skirts/shorts/dresses (hello, this was in 2009!). Lately I’ve been feeling the need to challenge me the other way around: how to make classic blue jeans fashionable? And what I like about this look is its simplicity…simple colors, simple lines, simple pieces. I wore this to go have dinner at a place in Midtown called “Lemoni Café”- for all my Miami guys/girls, I completely recommend it! Have an amazing day!! (and follow me on Instagram/Twitter as @nanysklozet…I’m going on a small trip for a fun trip). ________ Hace años les comenté lo mucho que evitaba los jeans- ya que siento que la gente por flojera, utiliza jeans y agarra la primera camisa que ve. Si quieres retarte en el mundo de la moda, olvida tus jeans.. esto te pone creativa en cuanto al combinar diferentes piezas e intentar nuevos estilos. Pero últimamente me he retado de una forma distinta…¿cómo hacer que los blue jeans se vean a la moda? Este look, al contrario, es extremadamente sencillo…pero eso creo que es lo que me gusta: su simplicidad. Esto lo utilicé el fin de semana pasado para ir a comer a un sitio que se llama “Lemoni Cafe”- se los recomiendo a todas las Miameras…es riquísimo. Un abrazo inmensisimo! Retro biking… (by Daniela Ramirez)

http://www.nanysklozet.com/2013/06/retro-biking.html Last weekend was “Memorial Day Week”, which means… long weekend!! Reason why on Sunday we ended up going to the pool with a couple of friends. Before heading out to the pool, Gabo and I went on a little bike ride around (Sadly, his bike got stolen a couple of days after…so upsetting and frustrating). We saw this train tracks, right by the road (no need to worry, they don’t use them anymore). It was so hot out that I ended up wearing this two-piece number that looks like a retro bathing suit. I paired it with a turbans and big round sunglasses. Hope your week is starting amazingly! XOXO ________ El fin de semana pasado fue “Memorial Day Weekend” en Estados Unidos…eso significa: fin de semana largo!! Razón por la cual el domingo vinieron un grupo de amigos a mi casa y estuvimos un rato en la piscina. Antes de ir a la piscina, Gabo y yo nos fuimos a pasear en bicicleta por Downtown. Le pasamos por el lado a esta vía de tren…no se preocupen que por ahí no pasan trenes- justo termina ahí y es una vía de tren de hace décadas. Ya que estaba haciendo tanto calor, quise usar este conjunto de dos piezas encima de mi traje de baño junto a una cinta en la cabeza y unos lentes redondos grandes. Espero que su semana empiece genial! Un abrazo grandotote!!!
